Our Macclesfield-based client is looking to recruit an Administrator to work in their admin department. You would be joining a lovely, friendly team of 5 providing reception and office support to the various internal teams. Meaning every day will be different keeping it fresh and interesting for you.

All of this whilst still ensuring you have the right work/balance. You will never take work home with you, and there will be no long hours, it will be your contracted 36.25 hrs per week.

Details of the Administrator position:

  • Competitive salary
  • Hours: 36.25 per week – Thursday and Friday’s you will be working 8:30am – 5:30pm covering Reception.  Monday to Wednesday the remaining hours can be made up, ensuring the core hours of 10am – 4pm are covered.
  • Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
  • Death in service 4 x salary (after 3 months service)
  • Auto-enrolment into pension scheme (after 3 months)
  • Team days/ get togethers.

Duties within the Administrator role:

As part of the admin team, you will have a varied role comprising of reception and administration duties.  Two days of the week you will be working on the front of house reception desk, meeting and greeting all visitors, answering incoming calls, transferring and taking messages, preparing the post, and organising refreshments for visitors.

Your other 3 days will entail providing admin support to other departments. Tasks will include formatting letters, compiling packs, chasing customers for missing information, uploading information onto the bespoke portal…see what I mean when I say varied!?

Skills and experience required to be the next Administrator:

You will need previous administration experience, be super organised, with high levels of attention to detail, and proficient IT skills.
