Our client based in Macclesfield is looking for an Import Administrator to join their down-to-earth, friendly team.
You’ll specifically be dealing with importing a large amount of goods from all over the world, so a minimum of 2 years import administration experience is essential.

Details of the Import Administrator role:
- Salary: £25K – £27K D.O.E
- Hours: 9AM – 5PM, Mon – Fri
- 28 days including bank holidays plus Christmas shut down

Your responsibilities as the next Import Administrator:
- Maintain and process stock receipt shipments.
- Liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders providing import documentation.
- Managing a busy inbox.
- Provide Customs Clearance instructions for Imports and Export Clearance.
- Updating extensive spreadsheets and bespoke databases.
- Record and process supplier invoices.
- Provide weekly reports.
Experience and skills required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply chain specifically dealing with importing goods.
- Excel whizz with knowledge of pivot tables & v-lookups
- Previous admin experience
- High levels of attention to detail
- Ability to manage your own workload and multi-task.
