Purchasing Administrator

We are recruiting a Purchasing Administrator to join our client, based in Macclesfield.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get into the interesting world of purchasing, without needing any experience in the sector. You will be trained by a supportive team.
You will be joining a small, close-knit team of 12. Everybody gets on well and its genuinely a lovely place to work – simple as that!
Details/Benefits:
- Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
- Working Hours: 9AM – 5PM (1 hour lunch) Monday – Friday
- Hybrid: 2 days WFH, 3 days in the office after a 6-month probation period
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

What will you be doing as the Purchasing Administrator?
- Providing administrative support to the Purchasing Team.
- Coordinating sample requests, tracking progress, and keeping the sales team updated.
- Liaising with suppliers to get the required documentation.
- Updating systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with various departments.
- Adding costs to purchase order invoices.
What do you need to be considered for the Purchasing Administrator position?
- A minimum of 2 years of administration experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
