Report to the CEO and Board, and Shape How Finance Runs

As Finance Manager, you’ll lead finance day to day, report directly to the CEO and the Board and sit on a Senior Leadership Team of three, so your voice is heard where the decisions get made and you’ll have a real say in how the business is run.

There’s plenty of room to put your stamp on things too – there’s a genuine appetite to keep streamlining and improving how things work, so there’s lots to get your teeth stuck into.

You’ll have a fractional FD, a fractional Transactions Manager and a part-time Accounts Assistant to support you but it is a hands-on role, so you’ll need to be happy getting stuck into the day-to-day processing as well as the reporting.

You’ll be joining a lovely team who get on really well, have a good laugh together and celebrate each other’s milestones. Several people have been there 20 to 30 years, so clearly the company are doing something right!

Benefits and details of the Finance Manager role:

• Location: Macclesfield
• Hours: 35 hours a week, 9am to 4:30pm, with a 2pm finish on Fridays
• Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 D.O.E
• Holiday: 35 days including bank holidays
• Onsite parking

What will you be doing as the Finance Manager?

• Producing the monthly management accounts and MI for the Senior Leadership Team and the Board
• Putting together forecasts and cash flows
• Setting and managing budgets
• Raising and allocating sales invoices
• Prepayments and accruals
• Looking after bank reconciliations, the fixed asset register and credit control
• Preparing the year-end accounts and being the main contact for the external auditors.

What do you need in order to be considered for the role of Finance Manager?

• A minimum of AAT Level 3, or qualified by experience
