Our client, a small accountancy practice of 8 people, based in Knutsford, are looking for a Practice Accountant to join their friendly team. The two partners are keen for you to grow into being their right-hand person.

What’s on offer for the Practice Accountant role:
- Salary up to £42,000 (depending on experience)
- 25 days holiday + bank hols

What you’ll be doing as the Practice Accountant:
You’ll be supporting the partners across the full range of client accounts (they do everything except audit). Gradually taking on more responsibility – from managing client relationships to delegating workloads across the team.
It’s a hands-on role with the support you need to build your confidence and skills. You won’t be expected to run before you can walk – but you’ll be trusted to take things on and grow.
What you’ll need to be successful in the role of Practice Accountant:
- Around 3+ years’ experience in a practice environment
- Either ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT qualified– or QBE is fine too
- Comfortable dealing with clients and happy to muck in with the team
