We are recruiting a Mortgage Administrator to join our client, based about 10 minutes’ walk from the train station, in Macclesfield.

You don’t need to have experience within mortgages to be considered, so this is a real opportunity to begin and develop a career.

There’s progression within the role and an opportunity to complete a CeMAP qualification if you’d like to. So, this isn’t just another job, it’s got future potential for you, too!

You’ll be joining a small, close-knit team who are really welcoming, and all help each other out. They are a sociable bunch who go out together regularly, and you could be a part of it!


Details of the Mortgage Administrator position:

  • £26k
  • 25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays 
  • 9AM – 6PM, Monday – Friday (1 hour lunch)


What will you be doing as the Mortgage Administrator?

Once the mortgage has been sold to the customer, your role will be to manage the process through to the end.

You will be the point of contact for the customer, liaising back and forth between them, the lender, surveyors and any other third parties. You will request documentation, uploading it to portals. You’ll deal with the post that comes in, related to your cases. Essentially you will handle everything from start to finish, ensuring the mortgage process gets over the line.

The key thing you need to know is that the role is varied, interesting and will be a mixture of administration and customer service.


What do you need in order to be considered for the Mortgage Administrator role?

  • Experience within an administrative position, following a process from start to finish.
  • Confidence in communicating with customers, both over the phone and via email.
