Benefits / Details:

• Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 (depending on experience) 
• Location: Middlewich (main base), with travel to a second site in Crewe every couple of weeks 
• Hours: 36 hours per week 
• Working pattern: Monday to Thursday full day, early finish on a Friday 
• Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays

What will you be doing as the Head of Finance?

As Head of Finance, you’ll take responsibility for the overall finance function across two businesses and lead a small team. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Leading and developing the finance function across both sites  

• Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning  

• Playing a key role in business projects, including implementing a new ERP system and supporting the ongoing growth of the business 

• Producing and reviewing management accounts and financial reporting  

• Supporting senior leadership with financial insight and decision-making  

• Improving processes, controls, and reporting standards  

What do you need to be considered for the role of Head of Finance?

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Experience managing or running a finance function (either at manager or head of level)
• Strong background in management accounts and reporting
